Julius

Julius has awesome style.  He often wants fun hair.
One summer he went for a Mohawk.
More recently we colored it purple.
We did a fun color with purple on the sides and pink in the middle.  His hair didn’t last though.  The kids went swimming and Julius’ faded all out after one time in the pool.  The other kids also went swimming and their color held just fine.
Blond tips as his hair grows out.
Time for something new.
Here is his natural color.
The bleach was itchy on his scalp.
We sectioned it off for a two-tone effect.
We were trying for silver and gold,
but fashion colors don’t always turn out how you expect or they advertise.
We ended up with the silver being more of a blue, which is even more blue as it fades.  But if you are flexible on the final color, it is really fun.

Indie

Indie is my youngest.

He has gorgeous brown hair.
the bleach before the color
But sometimes you want a little fun.  First we had to bleach a spot in preparation for blue.
Blue is his favorite color.
and as you can see, this is his favorite pose.
One spot of blue wasn’t nearly enough and his original color was fading.
So we added some more and refreshed his fading blue.
He is excited!
In all his pictures at preschool, he draws himself with blue hair.

By crazy hair day, his vibrant color had faded to a pale blue.
Time for a refresh.
This time we did 2 colors for super fun hair.
And as it has grown out, it blends really nicely.

If you have been thinking of a spot of color.  Call me.

Lily

It has been a while since I have seen Lily. She is growing her hair out from a really, really short cut. She was ready for a clean up and some color. Lily likes a reverse Ombré, with her tips darker transitioning to her natural roots. One of the benefits being she has absolutely no grow out. Those are her natural waves brought out with a No Poo Transformation.
